Steve was born on February 22, 1962 in Eseden, Australia. His parents’ names are Lyn and Rob. Steve was 6 years old when he first caught a python and 9 years old when he caught a big crocodile. His nickname is The Crocodile Hunter. Steve grew up around crocodiles and other reptiles and was educated about them by his father, Bob.

Steve also acted in TV channels. He was a professional wildlife expert and a successful zookeeper. Steve loved all the animals but had a particular interest in pythons and large crocodiles.
He died while filming a documentary about Australia’s Great Barrier Reef in 2006. He was accidentally attacked by a stingray and died.
