One night, Dino Sam heard some weird noises, so he woke up to check them out. He got up and saw his friend Lucy near the water pond, throwing rocks into it. Suddenly, Lucy slipped and fell into the water! She started drowning because she was made of yarn.
Sam immediately ran to save her, but while he was running, a piece of his yarn got caught on a nail sticking out of the floor. At first, he didn’t notice it, but when he jumped, his yarn pulled tight, and he got stuck in the air! After struggling and wiggling, he finally fell to the ground. He was hurt, but he didn’t give up—he kept going to save his friend.
Lucy managed to get her head and hands out of the water. When she saw Sam getting hurt, she threw a rock to close the door behind him (to keep the wind from pushing him back). When Lucy finally got out, she saw that Sam was completely ruined.
Feeling sad and thankful, she decided to sew him back together. After two days without sleeping, she finally finished—and Sam was good as new.
