My twin sister Zeynep woke up one morning full of joy because there was a school trip that day. The 6th graders were going to Bosa. Zeynep immediately went down to the kitchen. Her mother had cooked her favorite meals. Although Zeynep’s mother had always been a great cook, this breakfast felt extra special. After finishing her meal, Zeynep went to her room to get ready.
She had already picked out some nice clothes for the trip. She quickly took the outfit out of the closet and laid it on her bed. Then she went to the bathroom to brush her teeth and freshen up—she never neglected her self-care.
Afterwards, Zeynep prepared her travel bag, took her phone from the charger in the living room, and headed to the door. Her father was going to drive her to school. When they finally arrived, Zeynep said goodbye to her dad and got out of the car. Her friends were already waiting for her at the school gate.
They got on the bus and began their journey to Bosa. Zeynep had a lot of fun with her friends during the ride. After about three hours, they arrived at Bosa. While exploring the town, Zeynep and her friends visited a local bazaar.
That’s where everything started.
In the crowd, Zeynep saw a little girl who looked exactly like her. Same face, same clothes—the only difference was that the girl was a little shorter. Curious, Zeynep approached her and said, “Hello.”
The little girl smiled and replied, “Hello.”
“What’s your name?” Zeynep asked.
“My name is Hannah,” the girl said.
Just then, Zeynep heard her friends calling her. She said goodbye to Hannah and walked away. But the little girl liked Zeynep so much that she secretly followed her and even got on the school bus with them.
When they sat down on the bus, Zeynep suddenly felt something jump onto her lap. It was Hannah! Zeynep was surprised and asked, “What are you doing here?”
“I followed you,” Hannah said shyly.
Some of the students noticed Hannah and asked, “Why did you bring your little sister?”
“She’s not my sister,” Zeynep replied. “She’s a little girl I met at the bazaar.”
Now Zeynep had a new mission: to return the little girl to her mother. She and her friends searched all over Bosa, asking people if they had seen Hannah’s mother, but no one knew her.
By evening, they had only one place left to visit. When they arrived, a mysterious woman wearing a mask opened the door. As soon as she saw her, Hannah ran to the woman and said, “Mom!”
The woman’s mask fell off—and to Zeynep’s shock, it was her own mother!
It was all a big surprise. Hannah was actually Zeynep’s twin sister, and the whole thing had been a playful joke planned by her family.
After that day, they all lived happily together as one big, joyful family.
